Before and after

From scattered records to a history for every roll

Before

Scattered

  • Needle stock counted in a separate workbook
  • Invoices prepared by hand from delivery receipts
  • Returned fabric hard to trace to the original delivery
  • Rework credits relied on someone remembering

After

Traced

  • Every roll its own record: width, weight and color
  • Back jobs linked to the original delivery
  • Invoices from delivery receipts, with unbilled deliveries flagged
  • Postings to the general ledger, with BIR forms
